WHY?!

ok so it has come to my attention that some new crappy boy-band is taking some of the names from actual good songs. WHY?! the boy band is called "One Direction" (to hell :L) and you might know them for that suckish song "What Makes You Beautiful." i know that this might sound harsh but they don't even sound like they're singing 'till the chorus, and even that is pretty much "that's what makes you beautif-ul-uh-ul." or "you don't know you're beautiful-uh-ul" or whatever. 

i was flicking through that HUGE music channel "Air Active" one day, and out of all 30 of the categories, i saw what was the song playing on "Chart Countdown." it SAID "Na Na Na" and i was like "YES!" because as you know, that is the name of the MCR song and i love MCR. i put it on and i got really confused because it wasn't the catchy "nanananananananananananana......" i knew, but some sort of weird pop-ish sound. i looked at the artist and what do you know? it was by One Direction. hell, a few months ago if you Google-d "Na Na Na lyrics" the MCR one would've come up as first result but now it's One Direction talking first result. the MCR "Na Na Na" is pointing out how the world is coming to crap and the One Direction "Na Na Na" is about cheating on your girlfriend or something. lame, just lame.

another example is "Up All Night" which, Blink 182 fans know, is the first song after their 8 year hiatus. i was looking up that song on You Tube to listen to (i've had it on repeat for possibly half an hour) and the little drop bar thing that saves you from typing the thing said:

• up all night
• up all night blink 182
• up all night One Direction

again, one of my favourite song titles has been ruined by crap. and again, the One Direction lyrics replace the Blink 182 lyrics as 2nd result. Blink 182's in 3rd and DRAKE is 1st. i think the One Direction song is about a one-night stand and Blink 182's song is about how you need to set a straight goal in life and that you can't lie to yourself when something goes wrong and you think you can't fix it because you can.

unfortunately, the majority of girls these days would prefer the One Direction songs :(
