ok so sometimes i don't see one of my friends for a year so when i got called two times in 2 weeks (in a row) asking if i'd like to meet up in the city i was like....hmmm.....what's the occasion...
fast forward to yesterday and Jake was standing above me at Manly beach looking pretty in jeans, a hoodie and a beret asking over and over again "can i kick the toilet-well thing you're building down?" while i was saying no over and over again while throwing sand up into the air desperately trying to dig up a giant hole in the beach using only my hands. it started randomly filling up with water so i started throwing that at Jake and i FINALLY got some help building a giant smiley-face on Manly beach. then the stupid life-guard ruined the moment of hilarity by saying over the loud-speaker "JUST A REMINDER THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE BEACH IS CLOSED DUE TO DANGEROUS CURRENTS AND SURF CONDITIONS AND I CAN GUARANTEE YOU THAT IF YOU GET PULLED OUT, YOU'RE NOT GONNA COME BACK." anyway i finished the face and maybe i'll upload a pic later but i got so exhausted digging and patting down the face to clear away all the sand i threw up in the air that i had to be dragged back to the ferry port and i ended up using Jake's shoulder as a pillow on the ferry back to the Quay AND the train back home. damn...that was SUCH a comfy shoulder.

so anyway, just as a weird way to blend in music, the following three songs were stuck in my head while i was digging:

yeah it sounded strangely awesome in my head but i think that it would sound really weird if you just randomly played all 3 songs at once because the way it was in my head, is that it was little bits of each song playing one after another so...yeah. enjoy!
