man, i've been SO LAZY with posting lately

the laziness was due to lack of events happening in my life. anyway...

it's almost the end of the first week back to school. thank God for that. really, it's only day 4 and we've already been given the 2 major assignments of the term. pretty much the worst way to start the term. AND we were given a whole bunch of maths stuff to do on percentages and decimals and fractions and converting them into each other (my explaining skills suck, as i have previously said so if you get what i mean by converting them into each other, i applaud you) and if you know me, you'd know how much i suck at that kinda stuff. but then again, music makes it better. Sum 41 helps a lot but maybe that's just because i love their music so much...

my guitar lessons are also starting up again this term on Saturday and around an hour afterwards i'm going bowling with some friends for a birthday party. saturday's gonna be fun....

there's a radio station in Australia called Triple J and they're pretty much a station that plays Australian music, non auto-tuned and indie kinda music. good station. they also have this thing called "Triple J Unearthed" where they basically find bands who haven't been signed to a label and push them out into the world of musical-ness. it's there i found that song See What The Sun Sees and now it's basically my favourite song :) anyway i was listening to that station and although the band isn't Australian and they have a label backing them up, they played a song by an Icelandic band called Of Monsters and Men called Little Talks and i have to say, the music video is pure art.
it is actually really indie-ish so if you don't like that kinda stuff then....yeah i guess just don't listen to it.

lately there's been a lot of random shit being spray painted on the walls near my place and yesterday when i was walking my neighbour's dog i saw a green tag saying "Suffer" and i just thought "wow, well THAT'S nice." really, if they can't be bothered to do art, what's the point? in the sewers there's really nice but fading graffiti. i would take pictures but (unfortunately) the only way to get to the sewer-y drain kinda pipe thing is to actually go into it. not really gonna happen with my mum around. and i saw a really badly drawn graffiti of the Illuminati symbol which just made me think "they're not even real so why "warn the world" about it?" ugh...so many things i could go on forever about but no one would get.

heh....yesterday one of my friends said something that made me remember this random teenager that i saw on the street once. to sum up the awesome weirdness of his appearance, i shall describe him: poofy neon-green hair with a piercing on his tongue, eyebrow and neck, at least a million tattoos on his arms (the colouring was really strong so i'm guessing they were recent) really tall Goth boots that made him look like, 2 meters tall (roughly 6 foot 4) the skinniest white skinny jeans i've ever seen while wearing an Avenged Sevenfold T-shirt. and on top of that he had a 2 litre bottle of coke in one hand (half a gallon in America's measurement) and another 2 litre bottle of diet coke in the other. plus at least 2 pounds of black eye make-up. needless to say, i was just thinking "DOES THIS GUY LIVE IN NEWTOWN?!" because there, that kinda stuff is semi-normal. anyway i need to go now. enjoy reading that pointless post.

i'll see if i can be stuffed to get chapter 3 up sometime soon. it's set in the viewpoint of Cake.

XO - Mountain Goat.
